I work in ceramics at Teachers College Ceramics Studio in New York. My ceramics projects revolve around the relation between humans, books, and the natural world.  My latest series of pieces, Texts from the Future, is a set of ruined books recovered from an imagined, far-future, off-planet library. Several pieces from the series appeared in a group exhibition at the Macy Gallery: the virtual exhibition tour is here.

I'm also interested in using AI image generation for environmental and social commentary: exploring what AI systems interpret in clashes between different ecological visions of the future (dystopian/utopian) and different visions of the past, through diagrams, images, and text.
